The Review (by Jack098):
Game Play: The Sims 2 gameplay in most ways is very similar to Sims 1. The basic principle is
very, very simialr if not identical but that is good as it keeps it very simple, and it is easy for younger kids to use. My
7r old brother plays it a lot and is very successful and really enjoys it. The house builder has been improved with less
boundaries with more to do, with almost no limitations. You can now have 5 floors max and more than once I have spent a good
hour or so just designing my dream home, making it perfect in every detail.
Graphics: The graphics are a major improvement on The Sims 1 with inhanced detail. There
is no glitches but small detail-such as TV's etc need improving before this game can really make it.
Sound: The sound is the weakest element of the game. Still characters talk in some gobbledy-gook
that isn't even a proper language and sound effects there are none. The sound, I feel, really lets the game down. If your
characters spook in English the game would be so more realistic.
Story: N/A There is no story in The Sims 2 so to give it a mark would be unjust.
Multiplayer: N/A There is no multiplayer as there is no winner. Therefore it is impossible to
give it a mark
Overall: 78% would not pay the £39.99 retail price for this game. Pay
at most £25 to get your moneys worth.
